It has been a long successful journey with many great memories. Much heartfelt gratitude and many THANKS go out to all of the members & staff over the decades who helped continue the longevity of THE GUARD. Especially STEVE VINCENT without whom, THE GUARD would not exist or be as successful. His dedication and contributions are far too many to summarize into words. His programs have refined THE GUARD as an ambassador for the Senior Class, always continuing to raise the bar, setting standards and developing better performers. Over the years a majority of our 124 members have gone on to instruct successful programs of their own.
We also salute all of our dedicated fans who have followed us and cheered for us at every competition. It has been a pleasure to entertain you and all of the applause over the decades have been much appreciated by each of our members. To all of our fellow SENIOR GUARDS over the years it has been a privilege to compete with all of you. Your competitive nature helped to encourage a more competitive CLASS amongst us. We may all wear a different jacket, but in the end we set the example to the upcoming generations. Our friendships and connections span outside our competitive boundaries. We are the only Class to take a combined group photo at championships each season. We hope you continue that expression of appreciation going forward.
